Benannt nach dem Rio Dagua, einem der Typuslokalitäten.
Verbreitung
Kolumbien: Becken der Rios Dagua, Patía und Telembí, und Rio Mira (an der Grenze zwischen Kolumbien und Ecuador); Ecuador: Rios Cayapas, Mataje und Santiago.
