Rotes Meer; Indo-Westpazifik: Südafrika, Ostafrika und Madagaskar östlich bis zu den Gesellschaftsinseln (Französisch-Polynesien), nördlich bis zur Präfektur Kagoshima (Südjapan), südlich bis Westaustralien, Queensland (Australien) und Neukaledonien..
