Etymologie
Gebändert, bezogen auf 11 schmale dunkle vertikale Balken an den Seiten beider Geschlechter, der letzte am Schwanzstiel (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project).
Verbreitung
Orinoco-Becken, Kolumbien und Venezuela.
