Etymologie

(= armenisch), bezogen auf die Verbreitung im oberen Armenien (heutige Türkei; kommt auch im Iran vor). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Verbreitung

Türkei und Iran: Weit verbreitet in oberen Einzugsgebiet des Euphrat, bisher nur aus der Türkei erfasst. Gefunden flussabwärts nach Birecik, nur 23 km nördlich der Grenze zu Syrien gelegen.
