Etymologie
Großnasig, bezieht sich auf seine Schnauze, die abrupt zwischen den Augen zusammengedrückt ist, mit einer großen Grube zwischen den Nasenlöchern. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Becken des Brahmaputra River, Indien und Nepal.
