Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Sidney Langford Hinde (1863-1930), Medizinischer Offizier des Inneren in Britisch-Ostafrika und Hauptmann in den Kongo-Freistaatstruppen, sowie Amateur-Naturforscher und Ethnograph, der die Typusexemplare sammelte. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
