Etymologie
Der Artname ehrt Frau Karen Nordquist für ihre jahrzehntelange Unterstützung und freiwillige Arbeit an der FMNH, unter anderem als Matrixsortierer, wo sie auch die beschriebenen Zähne entdeckte.
