Indo-West-Pazifik: Ostafrika, einschließlich des Roten Meeres; in der gesamten ostindischen Region, einschließlich Indonesien, Philippinen, Palau; nördlich bis zum südlichen Japan, südlich bis Lord Howe und Norfolk Island (aber nicht vom Great Barrier Reef bekannt).
