Typusfundort: Fiji, off NE coast of Viti Levu, Charlie’s Garden, 17°16.88’S, 178°28.3’W, (Karte), 13,5 m Tiefe.
Etymologie
Das spezifische Epitheton kombiniert das lateinische bi (= zwei) und lunula (= kleiner Mond), in Bezug auf die zwei charakteristischen schwarzen halbmondförmigen Markierungen unterhalb der Brustflosse.
