Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Für diese Art sind keine größeren Gefahren bekannt. Dies ist ein relativ kleiner Plattfisch (bis zu 15 cm TL), der allerdings in Gewässern vorkommt, in denen Schleppnetzfischerei betrieben wird.
