Etymologie
Kombiniert aus enantios (= umgekehrt) und opus (= Fuß), bezieht sich auf die umgekehrte Form der Bauchflossen, bei der die Länge der Strahlen von vorne nach hinten zunimmt (eine Anpassung an ihren benthischen Lebensraum). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
