Etymologie
Electro- (von Elektrizität); phorus (= Träger), bezieht sich auf seine Fähigkeit, einen starken elektrischen Schlag zu erzeugen (kann auch auf einen manuellen kapazitiven Generator desselben Namens aus dem 18. Jahrhundert hinweisen). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
