Typusfundort: Brasilien, Bundesstaat Rio Grande do Norte, Mossoro.
Etymologie
Aus dem Griechischen, klein, und, Auge, sich auf die kleinen Augen bei männlichen Tieren beziehend.
Verbreitung
In den rio Jaguaribe- und rio Mossoró-Einzugsgebieten, östlicher Ceara- und westlicher Rio Grande do Norte-Bundesstaat, nordöstliches Brasilien.
