Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren des Ornithologen Alexander Ivanovich Czerski (1879-1921, Sohn von Jan Czerski [1845-1892], einem gefeierten polnischen Geologen, Naturforscher und Entdecker), der beim Sammeln der Typsexemplare geholfen hat. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Kontinentale Küste des Japanischen Meeres vom Serebryanka-Fluss, Russland bis zum Nord-Nandai-Fluss, Korea.
