Typusfundort: Hayne harbor Lagune, Los Negros Island, Manus Island, 2°03'S, 147°26'E (Karte), 7-9 m Tiefe.
Etymologie
Die Art wurde in Erinnerung an den verstorbenen Nick Sinclair benannt, ein Freund und loyaler Arbeitskollege des Autors, und ein technischer Offizier im Western Australian Museum.
Verbreitung
Nur von ozeanischen Inselgebieten des nordöstlichen Papua-Neuguinea bekannt, einschließlich der Hermit Islands, Manus, New Britain, New Ireland und New Hanover.
