Etymologie
Der Artname wurde zu Ehren des Umweltschützers Bruno Accorsi vergeben, einer der Sammler der neuen Art.

Bolivien, Departamento Santa Cruz de La Sierra, temporäre Tümpel im Einzugsbereich des Río Grande.
