Typusfundort: Zwischen San Luis und Millonarios, Cayo District, Macal River, Maya Mountains, Hochland von Belize.
Etymologie
Benannt nach der Typuslokalität, dem Macal River in Belize.
Verbreitung
Endemisch im oberen Macal River, Maya Mountains, Belize. Dieser Fluss ist ein Zufluss des östlichen Armes des Belize River, karibisches Einzugsgebiet.
