Typusfundort und -schicht: Abtei Prémontré, Prémontré (Aisne, Nordfrankreich); „Sables de Glennes“ (Laon Clays Formation), Stufe 2, spätes Ypresium (NP12), Eozän.
Etymologie
Benannt nach Pierre Louis von der lokalen „Société Laonnoise et Axonaise de Paléontologie“ für seinen Beitrag zur paläontologischen Forschung in der Region Reims.
