Typusfundort: Sagami Bay, nähe Misaki, Japan.
Etymologie
Benannt nach der Ortschaft Misaki, in deren Nähe der Holotypus gefangen wurde.
Verbreitung
Japan und Taiwan: Bekannt von den Pazifikküsten Japans nach Norden bis zur Oshika-Halbinsel (38.32°N), dem Okinawa-Trog, dem nördlichen Südchinesischen Meer und dem Kyushu-Palau-Kamm in Tiefen von 202–795 m.
