Typusfundort: Chapinero, nähe Bogotá, Kolumbien.
Etymologie
Benannt nach der Typuslokalität: Bogotá, in deren Nähe die Typusexemplare gesammelt worden sind.
Verbreitung
Einzugsgebiete von Flüssen in den Departements Cundinamarca, Kolumbien und Venezuela.
