Typusfundort: Shirahama, Insel Hatake-zima, Präfektur Wakayama, Japan, 15 m Tiefe.
Etymologie
Bezieht sich auf die lanzettförmige Schwanzflosse.
Verbreitung
Westpazifik: Indonesien, Philippinen, Papua-Neuguinea, nördlich zu den Ryukyu-Inseln und Palau, südlich nach Queensland (Australien).
