Typusfundort und -schicht: Souar-Fortuna-Formationen in Djebel el Kébar, Weiler Amamria in der Nähe des Dorfes Soug-Jedid (Gemeinde Sidi Bouzid), Tunesien; Mittleres Eozän (Mittleres Bartonium).
Etymologie
In Anerkennung von Guillaume Guinot für seinen großen Beitrag zur Erforschung ausgestorbener Hammerhai-ähnlicher Taxa.

Mittleres Eozän (Mittleres Bartonium): Tunesien.
