Etymologie
Aus einem Tümpel mit stehendem Wasser, beschrieben als häufig vorkommend in kleinen Tümpeln unterhalb des Sägewerks bei Christianburg, Guyana (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project).
Verbreitung
Küstenfließgewässer, Guyana und Surinam.
