Typusfundort und -schicht: Nordostitalien, Ortschaft Bolca, Lagerstätte Monte Postale; spätfrühes Eozän, spätes Yperium, ca. 50 Millionen Jahre alt.
Etymologie
Der Artname bezieht sich auf den feinen Wein "Durello", der im Alpone-Tal (Lessini-Gebirge) hergestellt wird.
