Typusfundort: Myanmar, vor der Tanintharyi Küste, 13°3.21'N, 96°41.62'E (Karte), 121–129 m Tiefe.

Etymologie

Der Artname stammt vom lateinischen convexus, (konvex, nach außen gewölbt), bezogen auf die konvexe Vorderseite des Kopfes.

Verbreitung

Bisher nur aus Myanmar bekannt, vor der Tanintharyi Küste und in der Ayeyarwady Delta Region. Tiefenbereich 116-129 m.
