Manipur-Becken, Indien und Myanmar.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 3.03.2017: nicht gefährdet
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Die große Bedrohung für diese Art ist ein ausgedehnter Lebensraumverlust in ihrem Verbreitungsgebiet, destruktives Fischen, wie z.B. die Verwendung von Dynamit, sowie Eindämmung, wodurch ihre lokalen Migrationsgewohnheiten einschränkt werden.
