Etymologie
In (= ohne); ornatus (= verziert, geschmückt), bezieht sich auf die meist ungefleckte Färbung der großen erwachsenen Tiere dieser Art.
Verbreitung
Östlicher Indischer Ozean: nur aus dem nördlichen Westaustralien bekannt; eine Küstenart in Tiefen von 5-60 m.
