Typen
Holotypus: UFRJ 6505.
Typusfundort: Brasilien, Bundesstaat Mato Grosso, sumpfige Überschwemmungsgebiete eines in der rio Sepotuba fließenden Baches, in der Nähe der Straße MT-338, Tangara da Serra, oberes Río Paraguay-Becken, 14°38'40"S, 57°20'41"W.
Etymologie
Der Artname paresi bezieht sich auf den Namen eines indigenen Stammes (Aruák-Gruppe), welcher früher die Parecis-Hügel, Zentralbrasilien, bewohnte.
Verbreitung
Nur vom Typusfundort bekannt.
