Typusfundort: Frühes Sarmatian s.s.von Dolje, Kroatien und isolierte Otolithen der gleichen Art, die an verschiedenen Orten der frühen bis späten Sarmatian gefunden wurden, in Österreich, Bulgarien und Rumänien.
