LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet) Mögliche Gefahren für diese Art: Die Hauptbedrohung für alle Bewohner des Yaqui-Einzugsgebiets ist die Verschmutzung und die Zerstörung des Lebensraums aufgrund der Auswirkungen der Landwirtschaft, da sowohl im Boden an Land als auch im Wasser ein hoher Arsengehalt vorhanden ist. Darüber hinaus wirkt sich der historische Bau zahlreicher Dämme und die Gewinnung von Grund- und Oberflächenwasser auf die Sättigung und den Wasserstand in dem Gebiet aus, was zu Perioden mit niedrigem Wasserstand und Dürre führt. Alles zusammen wird wahrscheinlich auch Gila minacae in gewissem Maße beeinflussen. |
