Etymologie

Von quadrum (= quadratisch); rostris (= Schnabel oder Schnauze), bezieht sich auf einen quadratischen Rüssel. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Verbreitung

Indien: weit verbreitet in den Bezirken Upper Siang, West Kameng und Papum Pare des oberen Brahmaputra-Beckens.
