Etymologie

Benannt nach dem Land in dem die Typuslokalität liegt: Kambodscha.

Verbreitung

Weit verbreitet auf dem südostasiatischen Festland, in den mittleren und unteren Einzugsgebieten des Mekong, Chao Phraya und Mae Khlong sowie im nördlichen Teil der malaiischen Halbinsel. Im Mekong-Einzug reicht das Verbreitungsgebiet stromaufwärts bis nach Xishuangbanna (Yunnan, China).
