IUCN Status

IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) = Weltnaturschutzunion Rote Liste bedrohter Arten

Die Gefährdungsstufen gemäß IUCN EW Extinct in the Wild (in der Natur ausgestorben)
CR Critically Endangered (vom Aussterben bedroht)
EN Endangered (stark gefährdet)
VU Vulnerable (gefährdet)
NT Near Threatened (potenziell gefährdet)
LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
RE Regionally Extinct (regional oder national ausgestorben)
DD Data Deficient (ungenügende Datengrundlage)
NE Not Evaluated (nicht beurteilt)

Status: Stand 24.04.2017: NT Near Threatened (potenziell gefährdet)
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Die Art wird durch Ölpalmenplantagen in den Küstenregionen Zentralafrikas bedroht. In Westafrika ist sie bedroht durch Lebensraumabbau, durch Feuchtgebietentwässerung für Landwirtschaft und Stadtentwicklung und durch Entwaldung.
