Holotypus: MRAC 91-68-P-839.
Paratypen: MRAC 91-68-P-840 bis 843 (4), 91-68-P-844-845 (2), 91-68-P-846 (1).
Typusfundort: Loubomo River, Zufluss zum Kouilou in Richtung Pointe-Noire, in der Nähe von Dolisie, 4°11'S, 12°38'E (Karte), Republik Kongo.
Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Jean Diamouangana, Nationaler Projektleiter der UNESCO in Mayombe, Kongo, der die Arbeit der Autoren unterstützte. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Afrika: Unter-Guinea endemisch, bekannt von zentralen Kouilou bis zum Ogowe Becken.
