Etymologie
Vom lateinischen albus (= weiß), in Bezug auf die blasse Färbung im Vergleich zu anderen Gattungsgenossen.
Verbreitung
Diese Art ist derzeit nur aus Taiwan bekannt, wo sie die häufigste Art von Bathyuroconger zu sein scheint. Exemplare stammen aus Tiefen von ca. 300-954 m.
