Typusfundort: Mona Passage, vor der Westküste von Puerto Rico, 18°07'N, 67°40'W (Karte), Tiefe 338 Meter.
Etymologie
Benannt nach Dannie A. Hensley (1944-2008), ehemals Ichthyologin an der Universität von Puerto Rico, Mayagüez.
Verbreitung
Bisher nur von der Typuslokalität, der Mona Passage zwischen Puerto Rico und der Dominikanischen Republik bekannt; wahrscheinlich weiter verbreitet, da die Exemplare in 338 m Tiefe gesammelt wurden.
