Etymologie
Etymologie nicht erklärt, vielleicht von lithurgus abgeleitet, einem Steinbrucharbeiter, was sich auf seine Typuslokalität, einen Wasserfall, bezieht, wo die Art ihr Saugmaul verwenden kann, um sich an Felsen im reißenden Wasser zu klammern. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
