Squalus megalops
(Macleay, 1881)
Familie: Squalidae SynonymeAcanthias megalops Macleay, 1881 Lokale Bezeichnung |
Typen
Holotypus: AMS I.16255-001 [ex MAMU F24].

Etymologie
Von mega- (= groß); ops (= Auge), bezogen auf "große Länge" der "Orbitalhöhle". (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
