Typen

Holotypus: ZPAL P.14/13.3; Kieferknochen in zwei Stücken, 5,1 mm lang.
Typusfundort und -schicht: Linkes Ufer des Dnjestr, in der Nähe von Ivanie Zolote (östliche Seite), Zalischchyky Rayon, Ternopil Oblast (Podolien), Ukraine; Oberer Teil des Ivanie Horizontes der Tyver-Serie, 3-4 m unter der Grenze der Dniester-Serie, Unter-Devon.

Etymologie

Benannt zu Ehren des verstorbenen Dr. Władyslaw Zych (1899-1981), berühmter Forscher der frühen Agnathenfauna von Podolien.
